About the Author
Karen O’Leary earned her undergraduate degree in English and secondary education and her master’s of education in curriculum and instruction from Boston College. She also holds a master’s degree as a specialist teacher of reading from Lesley University.
For the past ten years, O’Leary has worked as a special educator in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She enjoys working with middle-school students, especially when she gets to help them develop reading and writing skills. O’Leary finds great satisfaction in watching her students develop into young adults poised to take their place and contribute to society.
O’Leary is the mother of three amazing young children who inspire her writing and work and bring fulfillment to her life.

By Amazon Customer This was the authors first attempt sharing her thoughts, feelings, and ideas with everyone. She always kept journals even as a young girl, and transformed these years into this wonderful collection of poems. They are thoughtful, sincere, and leaves the reader feeling the "SOUL" of the author. Curl up with a nice glass of wine, and enjoy the sensitive and heartwarming thoughts and feelings of a young woman, who as the book describes, is a mother, wife, daughter, and friend.
