I was surprised to see that Jessica Powers was an elderly nun-so uninhibited in expressing how in love she was with God!
16 of 17 people found the following review helpful. Reads My Soul By M. Carmen Ribera This book has poetry that describes the experiences we all have felt at some time in our Spiritual lives. As I read some of the poems it expressed what I had felt or was feeling so accurately I felt I was reading my own soul. Her poems lend themselves to be used for prayer & meditation with ease and they truly uplift the soul.

I use this book in meditation and sometimes I can not even finish one poem because my heart is leaping within! Thank the Lord for the gifts He has given us through the words of such a wonderful poet and mystical soul!
